Training Structure

He utilises video recording and analysis of speaking techniques to show measurable improvement in candidates:

  • Structure - Logical flow to build on ideas, take the audience from one idea to another are all important. Too often people assume that one structure fits all. No! The objective of the presentation will determine the appropriate structure.
  • Effective use of Language – Language, both verbal and body language need to be appropriate to the occasion, the purpose and the room. You will gain valuable pointers as to how to maximise results.
  • Use of Voice – Tone, pace, clarity, diction, accent.
  • Notes – Should I use them at all? How to use them effectively and unobtrusively. Preparation, structure and use on the day are all key aspects of use of notes.
  • Fear – The single most quoted problem with speaking in public. This need not be a problem!
