Bruce Fummey performs the works of Robert Burns and gives speeches at burns suppers including Immortal Memory, Toast to the Lassies, Tam O’ Shanter, To a Mouse, Address to a Haggis and others.

Burns Supper Speaker

A long time fan of the Scottish bard, Bruce is a member of Perth Burns Club. He has always been a regular at local Burns suppers but has, is now in demand much further afield.

Whether you need a high impact recitation, a toast the lassies, proposing the immortal memory or a more general toast, Bruce is both informative and entertaining.

Having spoken at the prestigious Westsound Radio Burns supper, Bruce launched himself into the International Burns circuit after his highly acclaimed 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Show ‘About Tam O’Shanter’ In addition to an hilarious background to the story of the poem, Bruce gives a rendition of the great narrative that will wow any audience. The DVD of this show can be purchased here.

Had Rabbie himself had one hour of life to be part of the audience, I am sure he would have enjoyed such a powerful performance. Bruce Fummey is hugely entertaining and an emerging new talent….. One4review.com
